Trust me—I’ve been there and I still am. Some nights, I just don’t have the energy to think, let alone plan ahead. That’s why I rely on two simple tricks that make cooking feel effortless instead of overwhelming.

Trick #1:
A back-pocket recipe list:
a handful of easy, no-brainer meals you can make with what’s already in my kitchen or that you know your family loves. On my phone, I have the app Google Keep where I have compiled and organized a few simple meal ideas when I feel really stuck.

Trick #2
A loosy loosy weekly theme:
when brainstorming for the weekly meals, I sometimes assign a category to each day, so I always have a starting point without overthinking.
